Do not eat Abe's Finest Meats bacon
Abe's Finest Meats recalled approximately 80,050 pounds of Cedar Creek brand hickory smoked sliced bacon because the label does not list sodium nitrite, an ingredient in the product. The affected bacon was produced between July 23 and December 11, 2014, and distributed in Florida and Georgia. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Cedar Creek hickory smoked sliced bacon with establishment number EST. 18747
- Do not eat the product if you have a sodium nitrite allergy
- Return the bacon to the store where you bought it, or throw it away
- Contact your doctor if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction
