Fair Oaks Farms pork sausage patties recalled for potential Listeria contamination
Don't eat Fair Oaks Farms sausage patties
Fair Oaks Farms recalled approximately 1,134 pounds of fully cooked pork sausage patties (sold as "BREAKFAST Best FULLY COOKED ORIGINAL PORK SAUSAGE PATTIES") because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were made on August 8, 2017, and distributed to stores in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat these products if you have them at home
- Look for packages with "EST. 17479T" and a sell-by date of 05/15/2018
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
- Seek medical care if you develop flu-like symptoms within 2 months and you ate this product, especially if you are pregnant, elderly, or immunocompromised
