Don't eat Lombardi Brothers beef products
Lombardi Brothers Meats in Denver recalled about 26,975 pounds of beef steaks and ground beef products produced between June 12 and June 30, 2015, due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The contamination was discovered during routine testing on June 30. These products were distributed to hotels, restaurants, and institutions in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
- Check your freezer or refrigerator for any Lombardi Brothers beef products with establishment number 'EST. 772' on the USDA inspection seal
- Do not eat recalled products—throw them away or return them to where you bought them
- Wash your hands, utensils, and surfaces that may have touched the recalled meat
- Seek medical care immediately if you experience bloody diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, or other signs of E. coli illness
