Circle A and Clarks beef products recalled for E. coli O157:H7 contamination
Do not use recalled Circle A or Clarks beef
Pride of Florida recalled approximately 64,797 pounds of raw ground beef and beef steak products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The affected products, sold under the Circle A, Clarks, and Southeast Protein Purveyor brands, were produced between September 23 and October 10, 2019. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat or prepare recalled beef products—throw them away or return to store
- Check your freezer for products with establishment number EST. 18506 and pack dates between Sept. 23–Oct. 10, 2019
- Cook all ground beef to 160°F internal temperature to kill harmful bacteria
- Seek emergency care if you experience bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or decreased urine output
