La Quercia dried pork loin recalled for insufficient dehydration
Don't eat La Quercia Lomo Americano pork
La Quercia recalled approximately 932 pounds of dried pork loin products (Lomo Americano) made between June and November 2016 because they were not dried enough. Insufficient drying can allow harmful bacteria to grow, though no illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your home for La Quercia Lomo Americano products with best-by dates between 10/31/17 and 03/02/17, or 1.5-lb. packages of sliced Lomo Americano.
- Do not eat these products.
- Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
- Call your doctor if you ate this product and feel sick.
