Don't eat Hy-Vee beef pot roast if allergic to wheat

Hy-Vee beef pot roast dinner products may contain wheat in the gravy, but the label does not list wheat as an ingredient. The problem occurred when the supplier sent a different gravy mix that includes wheat. These products were sold in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin between late December 2022 and mid-January 2023. No one has reported getting sick.

  • If you have a wheat allergy and bought this product, do not eat it.
  • Check your freezer or refrigerator for 11.6 oz. or 25.5 oz. containers labeled 'HyVee mealtime BEEF POT ROAST DINNER' with Best If Used By dates between 01/02/2023 and 01/24/2023.
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it.
  • Call your doctor if you ate this product and have an allergic reaction.
