Fruit Ridge Farms and Bell's Bistro fresh salads recalled for possible Listeria contamination
Do not eat these fresh salads with chicken or ham
Ready-to-eat fresh salads containing chicken and ham made by Fruit Ridge Farms and Bell's Bistro were produced with lettuce that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria. The affected products were made between March 10 and March 24, 2023, and sold in seven Midwestern states. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your refrigerator for Fruit Ridge Farms or Bell's Bistro salads with sell-by dates from 03/10/23 through 04/14/23
- Do not eat these salads—throw them away or return them to the store
- Call your doctor if you have flu-like symptoms (fever, muscle aches, headache) within two months of eating these salads, especially if you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system
