Giovanni Rana ravioli mislabeled; contains undeclared shellfish allergen
Do not eat Giovanni Rana ravioli if allergic to shellfish
Giovanni Rana Rustic Beef Sauce & Creamy Burrata Cheese Ravioli (32-oz packages) sold at Costco in Maryland and New Jersey actually contain shrimp and lobster filling, which are not listed on the label. The mislabeling poses a serious risk to people with shellfish allergies. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your freezer for Giovanni Rana ravioli with "use by" dates from 05/14/2026 to 06/25/2026 and establishment number "Est. 44870".
- If you have this product and are allergic to shellfish, do not eat it.
- Throw away the product or return it to Costco.
- Call your doctor if you have eaten this ravioli and have an allergic reaction.
