Peter DeFries sliced deli meats recalled for possible Listeria contamination
Don't eat sliced deli meats from Dion's restaurants
Sliced deli meats (roast beef, ham, pastrami, and turkey) produced by Peter DeFries Corporation between December 14–29, 2016, may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. These products were served at Dion's restaurants in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas on pizzas, salads, and sandwiches through early January 2017.
- Do not eat sliced deli meats purchased from Dion's restaurants during this period.
- Throw away the products or return them to Dion's.
- Contact a doctor if you develop fever, muscle aches, headache, or stiff neck within two months of eating these products.
- Tell your health care provider you may have eaten contaminated deli meat.
