BATTERYNationwide distribution

Check your Securitas Arial call station battery alerts

A firmware issue in certain Securitas Healthcare Arial 900 MHz call stations (Model CSK200-900) may prevent them from sending low battery warnings to the wireless system. This means the device could lose power without giving you advance notice. The affected units were sold between January 1, 2023 and June 26, 2024.

  • Check if your Arial call station serial number is listed in the recall notice
  • Contact Securitas Healthcare for instructions on a firmware update or replacement
  • Manually check your call station battery status regularly until it is updated or replaced
  • Do not rely solely on the low battery alert feature until the device has been corrected
Hazard

Securitas Healthcare has become aware of a firmware issue in the Call Stations in the Affected Lots that may cause Call Stations in the Affected Lots to (1) not transmit a low battery alert to the Arial Wireless Emergency Call System prior to battery failure, or (2) not transmit a low battery alert to the Arial Wireless Emergency Call system at least seven (7) days prior to the battery failing.
