Stop using affected Medline pre-op kits
Medline pre-op kits containing B. Braun IV administration sets have been recalled because the check valve components inside can get stuck in either the open or closed position. This could affect proper fluid delivery during medical procedures. No injuries have been reported to date.
- Check if you have any Medline pre-op kits with SKU numbers starting with DYKS (examples: DYKS1093B, DYKS1124C, DYKS1378B, or others listed in the recall)
- Do not use any affected kits; remove them from service immediately
- Contact Medline Industries or your supplier for instructions on returning the kits or obtaining replacements
- If kits were already used during a procedure, consult with your healthcare provider
