Lupin Liraglutide Injection recalled for particulate matter
Lupin Pharmaceuticals is recalling certain batches of Liraglutide Injection (a diabetes and weight-loss medication) because white thread-like particles have been found inside the cartridges. The affected pens are distributed nationwide. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if your Liraglutide pen is from one of the affected lot numbers listed in the recall.
- Do not use the pen if you have one of the affected lots.
- Contact your pharmacist or doctor to obtain a replacement or alternative medication.
- Return unused pens to your pharmacy for proper disposal.
