Major Pharmaceuticals is recalling certain lots of Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets, USP, 75 mcg because they may contain less active ingredient than labeled. Patients taking affected tablets may not receive the full intended dose of this thyroid hormone medication.
- Check if your levothyroxine bottle matches lot N02172 (exp. 07/2026) or N02296/N02288 (exp. 12/2026), NDC 0904-6951-61
- Contact your pharmacy or prescriber if you have one of the affected lots
- Do not stop taking your medication without talking to your doctor
- Your doctor may need to check your thyroid levels
