Major Pharmaceuticals Levothyroxine 125 mcg recalled for subpotency
Major Pharmaceuticals is recalling specific lots of Levothyroxine Sodium 125 mcg tablets because they may contain less active ingredient than labeled. Levothyroxine is a thyroid replacement medication, and tablets that are weaker than expected could result in inadequate thyroid hormone levels.
- Check if you have levothyroxine from lot N02266A, N02266B (bags) or N02266 (blisters), expiring 11/2026.
- Contact your pharmacist or doctor if you have one of these lots.
- Do not stop taking your levothyroxine without guidance; your doctor will advise on next steps.
