First & Last Tavern Traditional Pasta Sauce (meat flavored, 26 FL OZ) may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium that can cause botulism, a serious illness. The affected product has an expiration date of 09/26 and was distributed in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
- Do not eat or serve this pasta sauce.
- Check your pantry for the product with expiration date 09/26.
- Throw away any jars you have or return them to the store where purchased.
- Contact your doctor if you or anyone who ate this sauce develops muscle weakness, difficulty swallowing, or trouble breathing.
