Rovira 100to en boca snack crackers recalled for undeclared colors

Rovira snack crackers sold in 1.5 oz and 7 oz packages contain two food dyes—FD&C Yellow #6 and FD&C Red 40—that are not listed on the label. People with allergies or sensitivities to these dyes could have a reaction if they consume the product without knowing the dyes are present.

What to do

  1. Check your home for Rovira 100to en boca crackers in any package size
  2. Do not eat the product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to Yellow #6 or Red 40
  3. Throw away the crackers or return them to the store

Rovira crackers recalled for undeclared food dyes

Rovira is recalling six cracker products because they contain the food colors FD&C Yellow #6 and FD&C Red 40, which are not listed on the label. The products are sold as Snack Crackers 100to en boca (ciento en boca), Tempting Crackers, Vanilla Econo, Vanilla Treats, Tita Crackers, and Great Value Vainilla Crackers, the last of which is sold under the Great Value name. They were distributed in Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Panama, and the British Virgin Islands. No illnesses have been reported.
