MAYEJ Italian Parsley packaged in 24lb boxes has been recalled due to potential contamination with Cyclospora cayetanensis, a parasite that can cause foodborne illness. About 1,288 boxes were distributed nationwide. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not use or serve MAYEJ Italian Parsley from affected boxes
- Check your home, restaurant, or business for this product
- Throw away any affected parsley or return it to where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten this parsley and develop symptoms like diarrhea, nausea, or stomach cramps
