Wonton Specialist Inc. pan fried noodles in 16 oz and 5 lb bags contain FD&C Red No. 40, a food dye that is not declared on the label. This poses a risk to people with allergies or sensitivities to artificial dyes, and to those who avoid the ingredient for religious or personal reasons. About 500 bags were distributed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Wonton Specialist noodles and skins recalled for undeclared red dye
Wonton Specialist Inc. is recalling six products sold as pan fried noodles, wonton noodles, lo mein noodles, cooked noodles, wonton skins and dumpling skins. The products contain FD&C Red No. 40, a synthetic food dye, but the dye is not listed on the label. The products were distributed in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and no injuries have been reported.
