NatureBest Pre-Cut & Produce jalapenos in multiple cut sizes and formats may be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected products were distributed to Texas and Louisiana. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your kitchen for NatureBest jalapeno products matching the affected lot codes (190A26184–190A26216 and others listed by the FDA).
- Do not eat the recalled jalapenos. Discard them or return them to the store.
- Wash your hands and any surfaces or utensils that may have contacted the product.
- If you have eaten these jalapenos and develop symptoms of Salmonella infection (diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps), contact your doctor.
