Pearl Milling Company pancake and waffle mix recalled for undeclared milk and soy allergens
What this means
Ballester Hermanos is recalling limited packages of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffles Complete mix (5.99 oz) sold in Puerto Rico. The label incorrectly stated "may contain" milk and soy instead of "contains" these allergens, creating a serious risk for people with allergies to these ingredients. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your pantry for the recalled product in a red pouch with lot codes 23A26C6, 24A26A7, 24A26B2, 24A26B5, 24A26A6, 25B26C13, 25B26A14, 25B26B4, 25B26A15, or 25B26B1.
- Do not consume the product if you have a milk or soy allergy.
- Return the product to the store where you bought it.
