Ola-Ola Pounded Yam recalled for undeclared milk allergen
Ola-Ola Pounded Yam recalled for undeclared milk
Ola-Ola Pounded Yam packages distributed between December 2025 and May 2026 may contain milk (in the form of sodium caseinate) that is not listed on the label. A temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes caused some products to be packaged without proper allergen disclosure. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your Ola-Ola Pounded Yam package expiration date on the front. Only products with expiration dates November 2028 through May 2029 are affected.
- If you have a milk allergy or sensitivity, do not consume the product.
- Return the recalled product to the place of purchase for an exchange or refund.
