Hardie's Fresh Foods is recalling 5-pound bags of jalapeno peppers distributed to two Costco locations in Texas because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected peppers were produced between July 11 and July 22, 2026, with specific lot codes identified. The company has stopped production and distribution of this product.
- Check if you purchased jalapenos from Costco Store #1487 (Stafford, TX) or Store #0655 (Dallas, TX) with lot codes X2741775, X2741859, X2744163, X2744706, X2746349, X2746490, or X2748743.
- Return the product to your Costco store for a full refund.
