Ring Power digger derrick trucks recalled for cracked weld risking pole guide arm fall
What this means
Certain 2019–2026 Terex and General digger derrick trucks sold by Ring Power have a weld defect that may crack and cause the retaining pin to separate. If that happens, the pole guide arm can fall, potentially injuring workers or bystanders nearby.
- Check if you own a 2019–2026 Terex C4000, C5000, C6000, or General 65 digger derrick truck.
- Watch for an owner notification letter from Ring Power (expected September 2026).
- Contact Ring Power customer service at 1-904-737-7730 to schedule a free inspection and weldment plate replacement if needed.
- Reference Ring Power recall number UTC0001 when you call.
The agency's original wording
Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.
Ring Power will inspect and replace the weldment plate as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2026. Owners may contact Ring Power's customer service at 1-904-737-7730. Ring Power's number for this recall is UTC0001.
