Forest River Vibe recreational trailers recalled for carbon monoxide leak risk
What this means
The furnace exhaust in certain 2027 Forest River Vibe recreational trailers may not be correctly attached to the outside flue. This can allow carbon monoxide to build up inside the trailer cabin, creating a risk of poisoning.
- Check your notification letter mailed September 15, 2026, to see if your trailer is affected.
- Contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-327-2716 to schedule a free furnace repositioning at a dealer.
- Do not use the furnace until the repair is complete.
The agency's original wording
Hazard
Unvented exhaust fumes increase the risk of injury from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Remedy
Dealers will reposition the furnace, free of charge. Owners notification letters were mailed September 15, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-327-2716.
