Forest River Dynamax Grand Sport GT recalled for engine overheating risk from improperly installed pre-heat pump
What this means
Certain 2026–2027 Dynamax Grand Sport GT recreational vehicles have an engine pre-heat pump that may have been installed incorrectly. This can cause a coolant hose to fail, leading the engine to overheat and increasing the risk of a crash.
- Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) against Forest River's recall list at their customer service line: 1-574-522-1583.
- If your RV is affected, dealers will repair it for free by re-pinning the wiring harness, re-routing coolant hoses, and replacing parts as needed.
- Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 31, 2026. Watch your mail and contact the dealer to schedule service once you receive notice.
