Ford Expedition and Super Duty trucks recalled for headlight failure risk
What this means
Certain 2025–2027 Ford Expedition and 2026 Ford Super Duty trucks (F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550) may have defective LED chips in their headlights. This can cause daytime running lights, parking lights, or high and low beams to stop working, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk.
- Check your VIN on NHTSA.gov starting October 26, 2026, to see if your vehicle is affected.
- Contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to schedule a free headlight inspection and replacement.
- Expect an owner notification letter in the mail around October 26, 2026.
