Honda VT1300CX and VT750 motorcycles recalled for fuel pump failure risk
What this means
Certain 2023–2025 Honda VT1300CX and 2024–2025 VT750 motorcycles have a fuel pump that may malfunction due to a manufacturing defect. If the fuel pump fails while riding, the engine can stall unexpectedly, which increases the risk of a crash.
- Check if your motorcycle is affected by searching your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov beginning October 8, 2026.
- Wait for your owner notification letter, which will be mailed beginning November 27, 2026.
- Contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870 to schedule a free fuel pump replacement at an authorized dealer.

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed beginning November 27, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KU9. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 8, 2026.
