Mercedes-Benz 2027 CLA 220 recalled for improperly installed seat belt

Certain 2027 Mercedes-Benz CLA 220 vehicles have a left front seat belt with an incorrectly installed component. This defect may prevent the seat belt from properly restraining occupants in a crash.

  • Contact your Mercedes-Benz dealer or MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 to schedule an inspection.
  • Do not drive the vehicle until the seat belt is inspected and replaced if necessary.
  • Expect an owner notification letter by November 27, 2026. The repair is free of charge.

Hazard

A seat belt with an incorrectly installed component may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy
