Koenigsegg CC850 recalled for electronic parking brake failure risk in reverse
What this means
The electronic parking brake on certain 2025–2026 Koenigsegg CC850 vehicles may not engage properly when the vehicle is in reverse. This can allow the vehicle to move unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
- Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) against the recall list at nhtsa.gov or contact Koenigsegg customer service at 703-712-8324.
- When the fix is available, have the parking brake control software updated free of charge—either over-the-air or at a Koenigsegg dealer.
- Until the update is applied, use extra caution when parking in reverse and ensure the vehicle is fully secured.
