Al Kabeer Swai fish products recalled for import violation
Shan Distribution Network recalled approximately 5,084 pounds of frozen breaded Swai fish fillets and sticks sold under the Al Kabeer brand because they were imported from the United Arab Emirates, which is not approved by the USDA to export this type of fish to the United States. The products lack required USDA inspection markings. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat these products if you have them in your freezer.
- Throw away the recalled items or return them to the store where you bought them.
- Check your freezer for Al Kabeer Zing Fish Fillets, Fish Sticks, or Breaded Fish Fillets with use-before dates in June 2027.
