Fish skin crackers recalled for import violation

Asian America Trading recalled approximately 996 pounds of ready-to-eat fish skin crackers (sold under brands including UN CHI and others) because they were produced in China, a country not permitted to export this type of product to the United States. The products were discovered during routine inspections. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat these products if you have them at home.
  • Throw away the crackers or return them to the store where you bought them.
  • Check your pantry for 50-g packages labeled "Crispy Fish Skin Crackers," "Fish Skin Crackers," or "UN CHI Crisp Fish Skin" in any flavor.
