Gangothri Foods pickles recalled for lack of inspection

Gangothri Foods (operating as Indus Foods, LLC) recalled approximately 1,626 pounds of ready-to-eat pickled goat and chicken products made between January 2025 and May 2026 because they were produced without USDA inspection. The products were sold to restaurants, retailers, distributors, and consumers nationwide. No illnesses have been reported.

• Do not eat these products if you have them at home.
• Check your pantry for 8-oz. jars labeled Gangothri Goat Pickle, Gangothri Gongura Goat Pickle, Gangothri Chicken Pickle, or Gangothri Gongura Chicken Pickle.
• Throw away affected products or return them to the store where you bought them.
