Throw out Hillshire Brands corn dogs and sausage sticks
Hillshire Brands (Jimmy Dean, State Fair, and Fresh to You labels) recalled approximately 58 million pounds of corn dog and sausage on a stick products because wooden pieces got mixed into the batter during production. Products were packaged between March 17 and September 26, 2025. Five injuries have been reported.
- Check your freezer for corn dogs or sausage sticks with establishment number EST-582, P-894, or EST. 47991 on the package
- Do not eat these products
- Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them
- If you or anyone else was injured after eating these products, contact a doctor and report it to USDA at 888-674-6854
