Vanee Foods recalled approximately 3,156 pounds of turkey broth that was mislabeled as chicken broth. The turkey broth contains milk, which is a known allergen that was not declared on the label. The affected product is 'Imperial Turkey Base' sold in cases containing six 1-pound plastic containers marked with code 01734-6700 and ending in 0784-5, produced on March 19, 2014.
- Do not use Imperial Turkey Base products with the code 01734-6700 (ending 0784-5) if you or anyone eating the food has a milk allergy
- Check if you have this product—it may be labeled as 'Imperial Chicken Base' on the containers
- Return or discard the product
