Forward Farms grass-fed ground beef recalled for possible E. coli O26
Throw out Forward Farms ground beef
Mountain West Food Group is recalling approximately 2,855 pounds of Forward Farms grass-fed ground beef due to possible E. coli O26 contamination. The contamination was discovered during routine testing. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat the recalled ground beef (16-oz. packages with "USE BY 01/13/26 EST 2083").
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it.
- If you ate this beef and develop diarrhea, vomiting, or bloody stools, contact your doctor.
- Cook all ground beef to 160°F (use a food thermometer) to kill harmful bacteria.
