Al Shabrawy Meat beef salami, bologna, and mortadella recalled for undeclared allergens
Throw out Al Shabrawy meat products
Al Shabrawy Meat Inc. recalled beef salami, bologna, mortadella, and other sausage products produced between January 2015 and August 2016 because they contain pistachio nuts and soy that are not listed on the label. Some products also contained poultry ingredients and undeclared food dyes not identified to consumers.
- Do not eat Al Shabrawy or Baroody brand beef salami, bologna, mortadella, basterma, makanek, or soujouk products with establishment number EST. 19160
- Throw away these products or return them to the store where you bought them
- Check your freezer—some product may be frozen
- If you have a pistachio or soy allergy and consumed these products, contact your doctor
