Ajinomoto chicken fried rice recalled for plastic contamination
Throw out Ajinomoto chicken fried rice
Ajinomoto Foods North America is recalling approximately 172,692 pounds of frozen chicken fried rice products because they may contain pieces of plastic. The affected products were made between July 9–11, 2019. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice in 54-oz. cardboard packages with date codes 3559007, 3559008, 3559015, 3559190, or 3559191.
- Do not eat the product. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it.
- Call Ajinomoto at 1-855-742-5011 if you have questions.
