Baxter TruSystem 7500 U mobile column recalled for lift drop risk

Baxter is recalling one TruSystem 7500 U mobile column because its main lift may unexpectedly drop from its set position to its lowest position during use. The tabletop may not be raised again after a drop, and an uncontrolled drop could cause abrupt patient displacement during surgery, which may lead to traumatic injury, airway compromise, or surgical complications.
