AART Gluteal Implants recalled for unapproved distribution and specification deviations
Stop using AART Gluteal Implants
DSAART LLC distributed gluteal implants without FDA approval and in ways that deviated from approved specifications. The FDA has recalled 118 implants across multiple models and lot numbers distributed in 28 U.S. states and territories. No injuries have been reported.
- Contact your surgeon or healthcare provider immediately if you received an AART Gluteal Implant
- Check the model number and lot number on your implant documentation to see if it matches the recall list
- Do not have surgery to place a new AART implant until this issue is resolved

Due to manufactured products that deviated from established specifications and being distributed without obtaining the required FDA premarket approvals or clearances.
