Medline distributed 30 types of surgical procedure convenience kits that contained MASTISOL liquid adhesive with a manufacturing defect. The tubing on the adhesive vials can crack when opened, potentially affecting the sterility of the kit. About 456 affected kits were distributed; no injuries have been reported.

Medline kits were manufactured and distributed containing MASTISOL liquid adhesive which was recalled due to complaints that the butyrate tubing cracked during actuation of the vials of MASTISOL Liquid Adhesive.
