Stop using recalled Medline procedure kits
Medline distributed 66 different medical procedure kits containing MASTISOL liquid adhesive with defective butyrate tubing that can crack when the vial is opened. The adhesive is used to secure medical devices during surgical procedures. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if your facility has any of the affected Medline kit SKUs listed in the recall
- Do not use any affected kits; set them aside and quarantine them
- Contact Medline or your supplier for replacement kits or instructions
- Check the lot numbers on your kits against the recall details if you have the affected SKUs

Medline kits were manufactured and distributed containing MASTISOL liquid adhesive which was recalled due to complaints that the butyrate tubing cracked during actuation of the vials of MASTISOL Liquid Adhesive.
