Pharmaceuticals has recalled multiple brands of sterile eye drops (including Best Choice, Quality Choice, Discount Drug Mart, Good Sense, Walgreens, CareOne, Equaline, TopCare, Meijer, and H.E.B.) because the manufacturer cannot guarantee the products are sterile. Non-sterile eye drops can introduce infection into the eye. The affected products were distributed nationwide and have lot number AC24E01 with expiration date 05/31/26.
- Check your eye drops for the lot number AC24E01 and expiration date 05/31/26
- Stop using affected eye drops immediately
- Discard the product or return it to the store where you purchased it
- Contact your doctor if you have used these eye drops and experience eye pain, redness, or vision changes
