Stop using recalled eye drops immediately

K.C. Pharmaceuticals issued a recall of Rugby Lubricating Eye Drops and Walgreens Lubricant Eye Drops because the manufacturer cannot guarantee the products are sterile. Non-sterile eye drops can introduce bacteria or other microorganisms into the eye. The recall affects specific lots (SY24K01 and SY24K02) with expiration dates of 09/30/26.

  • Check if you have Rugby (NDC 0536-1219-94) or Walgreens eye drops with lot numbers SY24K01 or SY24K02 expiring 09/30/26
  • Stop using the product immediately
  • Dispose of the bottle safely
  • Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have used these drops and experience eye redness, pain, or discharge
