Golden State Medical Supply Primidone recalled for API contamination
Golden State Medical Supply is recalling Primidone 50 mg tablets because the active ingredient was contaminated with trace amounts of Acemetacin, a different medication. This contamination occurred during manufacturing. The affected bottles are identified by specific lot numbers with expiration dates in 2028.
- If you have a Primidone 50 mg bottle with lot number GS066750, GS067084, GS067710, GS067873, GS068339, or GS068897, contact your pharmacy or prescriber.
- Do not stop taking your medication without talking to your doctor.
- Your pharmacist or doctor can verify whether your bottle is affected and provide guidance.
