Palmetto Gourmet Foods is recalling its Vegetarian Chicken Flavor Ramen Express (3 oz packages) because the product contains Yellow #5 food dye that is not listed on the label. Yellow #5 can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, particularly those with aspirin sensitivity. The affected packages have Best By dates before January 15, 2027.
- Check your ramen packages for the UPC 8 10037 81004 2 and Best By date before 01/15/2027
- Do not eat the product if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to Yellow #5 or aspirin
- Return the package to the store where you bought it, or discard it
- Contact Palmetto Gourmet Foods if you have questions
