Dakota Honey Company spun honey recalled for metal and plastic contamination

Dakota Honey Company's Spreadable Spun Honey in cinnamon-infused flavor may contain stainless steel dust, flakes, or shreds of plastic. The contamination was discovered during production at their Winner, South Dakota facility. No injuries have been reported.

  • Check if you have 4 oz or 12 oz jars purchased between December 19, 2025 and April 3, 2026 (4 oz) or February 25, 2026 and April 3, 2026 (12 oz)
  • Do not consume the product
  • Discard it or contact Dakota Honey Company for a refund or replacement
