Dakota Honey Company Salted Caramel honey recalled for foreign objects
Dakota Honey Company's Spreadable Spun Honey in Salted Caramel flavor may contain stainless steel dust, flakes, or plastic shreds. The product was produced in Winner, South Dakota and sold in 4 oz and 12 oz plastic jars between December 2025 and April 2026 at retail locations in Florida, Georgia, and South Dakota, as well as through online sales nationwide. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your home for affected jars (4 oz UPC 860012-41981-4 or 12 oz UPC 860010-57964-0).
- Do not eat the honey if you have the recalled product.
- Discard the product or return it to the retailer where you purchased it.
