Everything Sprouts and Calco branded alfalfa sprouts in 5 oz. containers may be contaminated with STEC E. coli and/or Salmonella. The affected product was distributed in Minnesota and Wisconsin in specific lot numbers (222, 223, 225, 226, 230).
- Check your alfalfa sprouts packaging for the affected lot numbers and UPCs listed in this recall.
- Do not eat the recalled sprouts. Throw them away or return them to the store.
- Wash your hands, utensils, and surfaces that may have touched the sprouts.
- Contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms of E. coli or Salmonella infection (diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever).
