Everything Sprouts alfalfa sprouts recalled for E. coli and Salmonella risk
Everything Sprouts, LLC is recalling certain lots of alfalfa sprouts sold in Minnesota and Wisconsin from May through August 2026 because they may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) or Salmonella bacteria. The contaminated sprouts were also used in some Crunchy Protein Sprout Mix and Zesty Garlic Mix cups. As of the recall announcement, 55 illnesses had been reported.
- Check if you have affected lots (LOT #222, 223, 225, 226, or 230) by looking at the package barcode.
- Throw away any affected alfalfa sprouts or sprout mixes immediately.
- Wash and disinfect any surfaces, containers, or utensils that touched the product.
