GreenWise frozen blueberries and mixed berries recalled for E. coli risk
Publix is recalling all lots of GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries and Whole Mixed Berries (10-oz and 48-oz packages) due to potential contamination with E. coli O145, a strain that can cause severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. The affected products were sold in Publix stores across eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
- Do not eat the recalled frozen blueberries or mixed berries.
- Discard the product or return it to Publix for a full refund.
- Contact Publix Customer Care at (800) 242-1227 (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday) with questions.
